If you're still reading these comments then all I can say is WOW! As a father myself (2 sons) all I can say is your son-in-law is (to use a phrase in the UK) "Punching way above his weight". Your daughter is stunning and HE'S a VERY lucky man. As to your song, between the births of our boys, we lost by still-birth what should have been my little girl (Abigail) and by now had she survived, I might be approaching the situation you found yourself in back then. I don't have the talent nor courage to do what you did. I have a brother who, a few years back, threw thousands of UK pounds into the wedding of his only daughter (he also has 2 sons) but come "That moment", they danced to "My Girl" by the Temptations which although appropriate to them, was a little cringe-worthy. In doing what you thought of, planned and clearly did took your daughter's wedding to another level but you have also re-set the bar of what it means to be "Dad" at a wedding. Kayla looked very beautiful , I'm getting married in November and one thing I'm going to miss is having the daughter father dance but my fiance grandfather, uncle's, brother in law's and the groomsmen are all going to step up and play the role , I wasn't there when my Dad died 😢😢😢 but I'm sure going to try and make it a very special day

Robert I listened and watched your video - your daughters wedding. It really touched my heart in a big way. I am 61 years old (young 61 in so many ways). I have missed much of my life and much that I have not had opportunity to do. I have not unfortunately spent a lot of my life with my father. The last time I had the opportunity to see him was in 1999-2000. My father did pass away in September 2010 :( Previous to the last time I did saw my father was in 1977... anyone that has a long-term (life-time close relationship) with a father and developed a close bond. That is very special <3

You're an amazing dad. Your daughter is very blessed to have you and to have you there for her big day. Though my dad wouldn't have made a song for my big day I know he would have chosen one that definitely spoke volumes of he felt about seeing me grow up and moving on with my life. Unfortunately he passed away a over 9 months before my wedding but my mom gave me away and made sure I knew my dad was there also. You are totally awesome for reminding how wonderful dads are.
